Adult Sunday School Classes

Family Life Class

Family Life is a group for retirees and empty nesters. They meet in Rickard Chapel Sunday mornings at 9:45 a.m. during the school year and describe themselves as a caring Christian fellowship of people in or approaching retirement years who enjoy learning new things, socializing and participating in mission activities. Everyone is welcome.

Faith & Friends Class

Faith & Friends is a group formed for spiritual growth and study.  They meet Sunday mornings at 9:45 a.m. in Room 132.  Classes meet during the school year. Visitors are always welcome, so drop by any time!  For more information, contact Peter Marsh at 586-713-5392.

Women's LIFE

Women’s LIFE has two groups. Each group offers a variety of studies and activities to interest women of all ages.

Mondays 7 – 9 p.m. in Room 128-129

Fridays 9:30 – 11:30 a.m. in the Parlor (September – June)

SPARK

SPARK Book Group meets the Third Thursday of each month at 1:30 p.m. in the Parlor.  Everyone is welcome to attend as we discuss a new book each month.  Please contact Linda Burnard at (248) 765-5511 with questions.

In December we will meet for our pot luck luncheon and select books to read next year.

Seeker's Study

Seeker’s Study meets Mondays from 1 – 2:30 p.m. in Room 132.  This progressive, open, accepting group studies a variety of books in an effort to increase their understanding of history, theology and faith.  Please contact the office at 248-651-9361 with questions.

HUGS for Moms

Wednesdays, 9:30 – 11 a.m. in Room 132 or as noted

A Community of Moms, A Neighborhood of Women, A Circle of Faith, Fellowship, and Friends together, bringing light and JOY to all those around us.

3rd Tuesday each month Noon – 2 p.m.

United Women in Faith

We are women with a purpose.  We connect and nurture women through Christian spiritual formation, leadership development, creative fellowship, and education so that they can inspire, influence and impact local and global communities.

UWF

United Methodist Men

UMM meet the first Saturday of each month (September through May) at 8 a.m. in Hickey Hall for a bountiful breakfast, fellowship and book study.  All men are welcome to attend!
