Scholarships

St. Paul’s Scholarships

There are now two different scholarships available to members of  St. Paul’s:

  • St. Paul’s Scholarship
  • United Women in Faith Scholarship.

St. Paul’s Scholarship 

The St. Paul’s Scholarship Fund was created in 2013 to provide scholarships to eligible members of St. Paul’s United Methodist Church who have demonstrated service to the church or community. Scholarships may be used for tuition or room and board at an accredited college or university, vocational program, apprenticeship or training program.

Application deadline is April 15 and completed applications must be submitted online by April 15 to eligible for consideration.

The application process is now exclusively ONLINE. Paper applications for the St. Paul’s Scholarship will no longer be accepted.

Scholarship Requirements for Qualification – 2024

APPLY ONLINE or scan the QR code, to access the online-only application form. Please fill out the form completely and follow the instructions on the form to attach your transcript (or GED certificate) and two letters of recommendation.

St. Paul’s United Women in Faith Scholarship

St. Paul’s United Women in Faith offer scholarships for women and youth members of St. Paul’s United Methodist Church.  Educational scholarships in the amount of $500 will be available for higher education and camp scholarships ($250) will be available for summer camp.

To be eligible for these scholarships, applicants must be an active participant of St. Paul’s United Methodist Church and must have demonstrated service to the church or community.

The education scholarship may be used for higher education at an accredited institution, art or music study or college admission test preparatory course.  The education scholarship is available to female church members age 16 or older who have a minimum GPA of 2.5 (on a 4.0 scale).

The camp scholarship may be used for Christian summer camp and is available to boys and girls up to the age of 18 who are members of St. Paul’s, or whose family are members of St. Paul’s if the child is younger than confirmation age.  The scholarship is not available for St. Paul’s youth work trip.

Application deadline is April 15 and completed applications must be received in the church office by close of business on that date to eligible for consideration.
