Grow Groups

Grow Groups
Are you looking for a new way to grow in your faith and in your Christian life by connecting with some of the friendly members at St. Paul’s?

St. Paul’s Grow Groups gather weekly with a small group of individuals, in homes or at church, to discuss the weekly sermon and to share each other’s stories. Your commitment to a Grow Group would involve listening to the sermon on Sunday morning, or on the church website, and then attending the weekly group meeting for the discussion.

Lenten Study

The Grace of Les Misérables

Tuesday, February 21 – March 28; 6 p.m. in the Parlor

Join Rev. Dulworth beginning on Shrove Tuesday, for a six-week Lenten study based on Victor Hugo’s epic story, Les Misérables. Using Matt Rawle’s book, The Grace of Les Misérables, we’ll dive into six themes of Hugo’s great work – grace, justice, poverty, revolution, love, and hope – as they are seen in the lives of various characters in the story. Hearing the story anew and reading the scriptures, we’ll listen for what God might have to share with us about these themes in this season as we journey with Jesus to the cross and the joy of resurrection. To register, email Rachel Henry. Books can be ordered on Amazon or Cokesbury websites.

Call the office at 248-651-9361 for information on other groups (including Women’s LIFE) participating in the Lenten study.
