Lenten Study
The Grace of Les Misérables
Tuesday, February 21 – March 28
6 p.m. in the Parlor
Join Rev. Dulworth beginning on Shrove Tuesday, for a six-week Lenten study based on Victor Hugo’s epic story, Les Misérables. Using Pastor Matt Rawle’s book, The Grace of Les Misérables, we’ll dive into six themes of Hugo’s great work – grace, justice, poverty, revolution, love, and hope – as they are seen in the lives of various characters in the story. Hearing the story anew and reading the scriptures, we’ll listen for what God might have to share with us about these themes in this season as we journey with Jesus to the cross and the joy of resurrection. To register, email Rachel Henry. Study guides can be ordered on Amazon or Cokesbury websites.
