CHILDREN’S MINISTRY SUPPORTS
ROCHESTER AREA NEIGHBORHOOD HOUSE
Month of February 2010
During the entire month of February, children were asked to bring in canned and boxed food (of all types) to the Education Wing. Special collection boxes were by the Sunday school classrooms. Our goal was to collect over 250 items of food to donate to our neighbors here in Rochester.

Elementary Education/Sunday School
Children 5 years through 5th grade attend Sunday’s worship with a parent and leave the Sanctuary during the second hymn or after the Small Talk to go to their classrooms.
The “Hands On Bible” curriculum helps children come to know the Bible as their book. Bible stories and fun activities help children begin to feel a part of God’s family.

Kids Own Worship
10 a.m. Sundays, Room 126
Fun and fellowship for children ages 5 through 5th grades. Make art projects, listen to Bible stories and play games. This class offers children another way to “hang out” and connect with church friends.
Teaching Opportunities
Make a difference in the life of a child by bringing your talents, gifts and smile to a classroom. Volunteers are needed at every age level, at 9 a.m., 10 a.m. and 11 a.m. Best of all, training is provided!
This sets an example that Sunday School is important and allows volunteers to model the love of Christ. It also gives parents the opportunity to be involved in the spiritual growth of their child.
Please contact Stacie Buckler at 248-651-9361 to volunteer.
